Mad Catz Buys Tritton

San Diego-based Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (AMEX: MCZ), which makes GameShark videogame enhancements and a host of other interactive accessories, says today it has acquired privately held Tritton Technologies, an audio headset maker based in Vista, CA. Mad Catz agreed to pay $1 million in cash at closing, and as much as $9 million over the next five years, subject to Tritton sales.
