Bruce V. Bigelow 11/23/09
Fallbrook Technologies, the San Diego startup developing a transmission without gears, has raised $4 million from investors in a secondary round of funding, according to a regulatory filing the company made last week. Fallbrook raised $25.4 million in January from NGEN Partners, a Santa Barbara cleantech venture firm; Robeco, the investment arm of Rabobank of The Netherlands; and from individual investors. Before that, the company raised roughly $25 million in funding from scores of individual investors.
