Jose Solorio, a Democrat representing Orange County’s 69th Assembly District, was recently appointed to chair the Select Committee on Regional Approaches to Addressing the State’s Water Crisis. Solorio, who represents Anaheim, Garden Grove, and Santa Ana, also serves on the Assembly’s appropriations, education, and transportation committees, and is chairman of the Assembly’s Committee on Insurance.
