The San Diego MIT Enterprise Forum is sponsoring an evening with Peter Diamandis, creator of the $10 million X Prize that ignited a privately funded space race that ended in 2004 with the successful flights of SpaceShipOne. Diamandis, who is now chairman and CEO of the X Prize Foundation, will discuss the prize model for accelerating innovation and explore the potential role that San Diego can play in accelerating innovation.
