San Diego to Host Biomass Event

Bruce V. Bigelow 3/31/09

“Biomass Summit” seems like a contradiction in terms, or at least hard to imagine. Nevertheless, the Algal Biomass Organization said today its 3rd Annual Algae Biomass Summit will be held this year in San Diego on Oct. 7-9. The Seattle-based nonprofit also issued a call for presentations at the summit, which will be hosted by the Wilson Sonsini law firm at the downtown Marriot San Diego Hotel & Marina. The Algal Biomass Organization was founded to promote the development of commercially-viable transportation and power generation fuels, as well as non-energy applications for algal biomass.
