How Did They Do It? The Breakout Companies of 2008

The San Diego Venture Group has recruited a group of venture capitalists, media, and key service providers to nominate companies that stood out in 2008 for local “Breakout Company of the Year.” The SDVG board will then choose two winners—one life sciences venture and one technology venture. They will both be announced at the breakfast program and their CEOs will take the stage to explain how they triumphed in 2008 despite the economic downturn.
