Nirvanix Replaces Its CEO

Bruce V. Bigelow1/13/09

San Diego’s Nirvanix, a venture-backed company that operates online data storage as a service, says it changed CEOs, replacing the entrepreneurial CEO Patrick Harr for enterprise software CEO Jim Zierick. Harr was previously the CEO of Streamload, another data storage service, and Preventsys, a network security startup acquired by McAfee in 2006. Zierick was previously the CEO of Aspyra and LogicalApps. He was hired as a senior executive at Peregrine Systems after the company’s 2002 implosion from a corporate accounting scandal.
