San Diego’s Novatel Wireless said today Brad Weinert resigned Monday, after serving 16 months as president of the broadband wireless company. A statement by Novatel chairman and CEO Peter Leparulo said Weinert has been an important contributor to the company’s growth since 2003. Weinert joined Novatel in 1998, and worked in various jobs until 2002, when he joined OKbridge, a San Diego online startup. He rejoined Novatel in 2003 as vice president of business development and was named chief operating officer in 2006.
