In an Obama/Biden administration, we can expect much more of a focus on science, math, and technology as critical skills for leadership and competitiveness in a complex world.

On the campaign trail, Obama focused on science and technology research, education, and practice as an area for investment.

His own sophisticated use of the Internet for campaign organizing and communication indicate that the next administration will use and promote 21st century tools for 21st century problems.
