Nokia to Pay Qualcomm $2.8B

Finish communications giant Nokia will pay San Diego-based Qualcomm about $2.3 billion under the just-released terms of a previously signed patent licensing deal, socalTECH reports, citing Nokia’s third quarter results announced earlier this week. The companies announced an agreement this summer to settle Qualcomm’s patent infringement claims against Nokia, but the terms had not been disclosed, according to the publication.
