I have no problem with people or a company making money. What I have a problem with is when they are at best extremely dishonest with customers, for example Heroes of Kung Fu (HOKF). Ever since servers started at Webmmo and Kongregate in-game announcements promised version 2 and game updates. This was originally supposed to be done in late August 2010. Not only has this not happened, but now we are told that the update will be on a seperate server, having to restart all our characters that took a year to get where they are now. Meanwhile Chinese servers upgraded from V1 to V3 without any problems or harm to characters or accounts. Additionally, this game is listed as closed beta, and bugs are expected in beta versions of games yet none have ever been fixed. Furthermore they are trying to extort money from top players for using a bug which is unavoidable to experience and which they refuse to fix. I could go on and on but posting a manifesto here would be a waste of time.

Sooner or later this is going to be a litigation nightmare, if not for this particular game, then surely for others. For any venture caps out there, stay away from this one from now on and pick a better investment.

Ray Flame Entertainment is a horrible gaming company who’s sole purpose is to make money. They have little to no respect for their players and treat them poorly. They do not care if people cheat and break rules. They do not fix bugs. Rarely do they ever update anything even if they announced they will. They will keep stringing you along until they get every penny they can from you.
