The Big Agenda for Our “Hardtech Revolution” Event 12/9

11/19/13Follow @curtwoodward

We’re less than a month away from our latest tech event in New York, and it promises to be a good one. But you already knew that, right?

Well, here’s a little more proof—the full agenda for “The Hardtech Revolution: Makers, Markets, and Mobile” on Dec. 9, hosted by our partners at AppNexus.

This afternoon conference will explore how the rapid changes of the Internet age are moving to the offline world, transforming how we build companies, get our goods and services, and connect to everything around us.

“Hardtech” spans a wide range of innovation sectors, but think of it as just about anyplace the Web bumps up against the real world—connected home gadgets and DIY robotics, instant video streams from around the globe, and next-generation marketplaces that let you rent a stranger’s car.

Our afternoon schedule is bracketed by keynote talks from Rod Brooks of Rethink Robotics and Mick Mountz of Kiva Systems, who will report from the front lines of robotics remaking the American workplace.

We’ll also hear from investors and entrepreneurs working on some of the most interesting startups and established companies in hardware, marketplaces, and more, in a series of fast-paced panel discussions and personal, one-on-one chats that dive deep into the lessons of key innovations.

Oh, and don’t forget plenty of time for networking, including an after-event reception with refreshments and plenty of interesting people to meet.

Check out the full agenda below, and make sure you get your tickets today to lock in the best price—our Saver Rate expires on Nov. 20. If you’re a student or a startupper, don’t fret—we’ve also got special rates just for you. We’ll see you there.
