| 3. Evernote Peek This great study aid is one of several purpose-built apps created by the cloud-notebook leader Evernote. It’s basically a high-tech way to make flash cards for your second- or third- generation iPad (it’s optimized to work with Apple’s smart cover). Within Evernote, you create a special notebook for your study cards and fill it with notes where the note’s header/title is the clue, and the body is the answer. The Peek app pulls these notes from your Evernote account. You lift the smart cover a little bit to see a clue, and lift it all the way to see the answer. You can make as many notes as you want, and Evernote also sells pre-made notebooks on topics like Spanish or SAT test prep. | |
