| Google Currents — Google’s overall design philosophy is more spartan than inspiring, but that works well in a news reader app, where the content should be front-and-center. This app is clean and easy to navigate. Full disclosure: Xconomy is a featured business publication on Currents. Pros: There’s a very extensive selection of content sources. Cons: Limited sharing options; Google pushes you to share using its +1 recommendation system.
