| 7. Sketchbook Pro — Autodesk, $2.99 — The “Pro” in this app’s name is no joke: this drawing app has so many features that it’s really overkill for anyone who isn’t a professional graphic artist. But I include it in this list because it represents such a startling advance in consumer computing. To do this kind of touchscreen art just a couple of years ago, you would have had to drop hundreds of dollars on a drawing tablet from a company like Wacom, and hundreds more on graphics software like Adobe Photoshop. Now you can do it all on the iPad for $2.99. Incredible! | |
