Accelerate Michigan Announces 53 Semi-Finalists

The 53 semi-finalists in the Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition have been announced. The global business-plan competition targets mid-to-late-stage business startups with the potential to generate an immediate impact on Michigan’s economy, as well as student concepts with longer-term business viability. (Students can still register up until the September 30 deadline.) At stake is more than $1 million in cash winnings, plus in-kind awards of services, staffing and software.
The semi-finalists competing for both general and sector-specific prizes are:

To qualify for the Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition prize monies, businesses must make a commitment to locate and grow in Michigan. These companies must also be past proof of concept and in the commercial stage of business development.
The competition will be held from November 15 to 17 at the Eagle Crest Conference Center in Ypsilanti, MI.
