Xconomy Forum: Mobile Madness 2012—Total Mobility

3/14/12
1:00 - 5:30 pm
Microsoft New England R&D Center, One Memorial Drive, Cambridge

In the five years since Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPhone, the mobile industry has changed radically. Wireless carriers are consolidating, and the battleground has shifted to mobile operating systems and platforms. Smartphones and tablets are ubiquitous, and they are transforming how we all shop, connect, get around, and lead our daily lives. In short, mobility is finally everywhere. So what are the new opportunities and emerging strategies in this sector? And how will the next five years play out?

Xconomy’s fourth annual spring mobile conference will tackle these issues—and much, much more. Over the course of an action-packed afternoon, we will convene mobile technology and business leaders from New England and beyond to examine next-generation consumer and social apps, the convergence of mobile marketing and big data, emerging business strategies, how local companies can continue to lead the world in mobile innovation—and, more broadly, how mobility will go on changing the way people interact with content, products, and each other.
