Illume Gets $2.4M to Stop Distracted Drivers

Needham, MA-based Illume Software, maker of the iZUP mobile app, announced it has raised $2.4 million in new financing from the Massachusetts Technology Development Corp. and individual investors. As we’ve previously reported, Illume’s software aims to stop people from talking or texting on their mobile phones while driving. The company started in 2009 and has raised $6.5 million to date.
