Paydiant Gets $7.6M for Mobile Payments

Boston-area mobile payments startup Paydiant has raised $7.6 million in Series A financing led by North Bridge Venture Partners and General Catalyst Partners. The news was first reported in a blog post by Scott Kirsner. Paydiant was founded by former edocs veterans Chris Gardner (also from m-Qube and ExtendMedia), Kevin Laracey (Siebel and Sigma Partners), and Joe Paratore (m-Qube and Verisign). The company is still in pseudo-stealth mode.
