Doctors Research Digs Up $7.7M

Southbury, CT-based med devices firm Doctors Research Group has brought in $7.7 million of a potential $15 million equity-based funding round, an SEC filing shows. The money comes from 53 investors, the document reveals. Doctors Research makes devices for bone substitutes, bone screws, and dental stabilization, and has developed a bone filler and repair product called Kryptonite, according to its website.
