Cambridge, MA-based Sayagle has launched today a new location-based social community and deals marketplace for consumers and local merchants in the Boston area. The site lets businesses provide daily deals and rewards, targeted mainly for students at local universities. Founder Ken Huang is a Boston University, Harvard, and MIT grad who previously co-founded WebNotes and also worked at Lucent, Nortel, and IBM. Huang says Sayagle is rolling out with 150 local businesses, including some 30 percent of Boston’s Chinatown restaurants, and currently reaches more than 20,000 local-area students.
