Jumptap Gets New CEO

9/27/10

Cambridge, MA-based mobile advertising network provider Jumptap announced today that it has brought on George Bell, formerly managing director of General Catalyst Partners, as its new chief executive officer. Bell will take an indefinite leave from his role at General Catalyst, and replaces former Jumptap CEO Dan Olschwang, who will remain on the company’s board of directors. According to the announcement, Bell will help the company, which raised $26 million in a Series D financing two years ago, grow its presence as a mobile ad network available on multiple phone platforms.
