Join us at the fourth program of the 2010 LSS Workshop Series on October 13, 2010 and arm yourself with the tools and techniques necessary for negotiating effectively. Topics include: understanding of the elements of business negotiation, gaining comfort and skill in managing negotiation situations, and evaluating gender-specific elements of negotiating and influencing. Participants will work on real life case studies in small groups to gain hands‐on experience with program content. Participants will leave the workshop with new ideas and methods that can be immediately applied to their own role in this industry.
Through this workshop, learn to:
• Evaluate concepts and skills necessary for all types of successful negotiation.
• Identify traits that are all essential elements in a successful negotiation.
• Utilize strong influencing skills in day to day negotiations.
• Overcome obstacles in the negotiating process.
