Cambridge, MA-based Localytics, whose software helps mobile software developers track usage of their iPhone, iPad, Android, and BlackBerry apps, has raised $700,000 in a first round of funding, according to a company announcement. Launchpad Ventures and New York Angels led the round. Localytics participated in the 2009 version of the TechStars Boston startup incubator program and later took up residence at Polaris Venture Partners’ Dogpatch Labs incubator space in Cambridge. Avi Fogel of Majorlee Investments, a member of both Launchpad and New York Angels, has joined Localytics’ board.
