InstallFree Grabs $3M

Stamford, CT-based InstallFree, an application virtualization software company, has raised $3 million of a planned $3.76 million equity offering, according to an SEC filing. The filings lists Richard Fade of Ignition Partners, Peter van Oppen of Trilogy Partnership, and Microsoft veteran Yuval Neeman as InstallFree directors. In 2008, the company raised an $8.5 million Series B round from Ignition and Trilogy.
