PocketCPR: Anyone Know CPR?!

Ryan McBride3/15/10Leave a Comment

PocketCPR has some solid credentials among several CPR training apps. For one, the iPhone app employs some of the same technology used in an FDA-cleared device, also called PocketCPR, which provides real-time instructions and feedback to assist people while they perform actual CPR. Pawtucket, RI-based Bio-Detek, the maker of PocketCPR products, markets the iPhone app as a CPR training tool. (Bio-Detek is a subsidiary of the Chelmsford, MA-based medical devices firm Zoll Medical (NASDAQ:ZOLL).)
