And the healthcare discussion continues. Luckily, in a slightly less partisan and perhaps more constructive manner. Dr. George Brenckle, CIO of UMass Memorial Health Care, will discuss the hospital’s forays into IT and potential challenges to look out for in the coming year. UMass Memorial Health Care started revamping its information technology systems in 2008 in both its ambulatory and acute care environments.
