Helicos Raises $6.4M

Helicos Biosciences, the Cambridge, MA-based maker of genetic research instruments, said today it has raised $6.4 million. The company (NASDAQ: HLCS) collected the cash by offering a combination stock and warrants. The deal was underwritten by Thomas Weisel Partners.
