Ryan McBride12/9/09

EnerNOC, a Boston-based provider of software and services that help large organizations to reduce their electricity usage, reports today that it has acquired California-based Cogent Energy. EnerNOC (NASDAQ:ENOC) says that Cogent’s technology is well suited for the needs of smaller facilities than EnerNOC typically serves, expanding the market of potential customers for the buyer. Financial details were not revealed in EnerNOC’s press release for the deal.
