Infinity Names New CEO

Cambridge, MA-based Infinity Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: INFI) said today that Adelene Perkins has been named its new chief executive officer, starting January 1. Perkins joined Infinity in 2002, and currently serves as its president and chief business officer. She will replace Steve Holtzman, who has been Infinity’s CEO since the company was founded in 2001. Holtzman will continue to work full-time at the company as executive chairman, the company said in a statement.
