Starting at 6 pm Friday at Microsoft’s New England R&D Center, teams of entrepeneurs, startup enthusiasts, software developers, marketers, and others will gather for an intense, 54-hour session of learning by creating. The goal of Startup Weekend—a tradition started in 2007 by TechStars employee Andrew Hyde—is to end the session with one or more developed companies or projects. Speakers will include TechStars Boston executive director Shawn Broderick and Jason Schupbach, Creative Economy Industry Director at the Massachusetts Department of Business Development.
