Ingenico Invests in Roam Data

Boston-based Roam Data, which makes software that allows merchants to process payments via cell phones, said last week that it has raised $6.5 million in new funding. Ingenico Ventures—a unit of payment solutions provider Ingenico SAS—and George Wallner, founder and former CEO of Hypercom, were the lead investors in the round, the company said.
