Boston-Power and Dr. Battery in Deal

Ryan McBride 9/22/09

Boston-Power, a Westborough, MA-based provider of next-generation lithium-ion batteries, reported yesterday that battery company Dr. Battery, of Vancouver, is now distributing Boston-Power’s long-lasting laptop replacement batteries for use with Acer, Dell, IBM/Lenovo, and Toshiba laptops. The batteries are based on Boston-Power’s Sonata battery technology used in the laptop replacement batteries that Hewlett-Packard sells under its Enviro Series brand. Boston-Power’s major distribution deal with HP was revealed last December.
