Mascoma Hunting for New CEO

Ryan McBride8/21/09

Mascoma, a Lebanon, NH-based developer of cellulosic ethanol, said yesterday that its CEO, Bruce Jamerson, is leaving his post to be chairman of the company and its subsidiary Frontier Renewable Resources. Mascoma is working with executive recruitment firm Russell Reynolds Associates to find a new CEO. Jamerson plans to focus more time on Frontier Renewable Resources’ project to build a commercial-scale biofuel plant in Kinross, MI, according to Mascoma. In April, the company revealed it would reduce staff levels from 27 to 15 workers and relocate its corporate headquarters from Boston to Lebanon.
