[Updated and corrected, 3:15 p.m., July 21, 2009] Regulatory documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday indicate that HealthEdge Software of Burlington, MA, has collected $3.5 million in venture financing. Ray Desrochers, HealthEdge’s chief operating officer, said the funds represent the third tranche of a $13 million venture round announced last year from the company’s sole funder, New York-based Psilos Group. The company, which was established in 2004 with $100 million in intellectual property from defunct healthcare software provider deNovis, makes claims and benefits administration software for health insurers.
