I signed up for the marrow donor registry earlier this month and was really surprised by both how easy the registration process is and how simple the donation process is. 

I always thought that Doctors would have to take out a chuck of my thigh and suck out some marrow, but it turns out to be a LOT less invasive. I think donating is usually an outpatient procedure.</description>
