Green VC Danielson Leaves General Catalyst for DOE Post

Dave Danielson, founder of the MIT Energy Club and Boston’s greenest VC, has left his position as senior associate at General Catalyst Partners for the U.S. Department of Energy. As an automated e-mail response explains: “I will be making a transition from my role as a member of the General Catalyst Partners’ Cleantech investment team into an exciting new role as a co-founder of the ARPA-E program…I am very excited about this opportunity to help shape this program that, if done right, has the potential to become one of the most important early-stage transformational energy technology funding organizations in the nation…”
