Ryan McBride 5/7/09

Casenet, a Bedford, MA-based provider of clinical care management software, has chased down $5 million in a round of venture capital, according to an SEC filing. The company says that it previously raised $7.5 million in a Series B round of financing announced in November 2007 and led by Boston’s HLM Venture Partners. The firm’s previous backers also include Sigma Partners, of Boston, and Aurora Funds in Durham, NC, according to Casenet’s website.
