The first quarter venture funding data was pretty dismal; however, we at FundingPost are remaining positive as we are still seeing positive things going on- several VCs and Angel Investors in the Northeast region will be attending upcoming FundingPost events, those that are still actively seeking new deals- even some new funds such as Excel Medical Ventures, NYC Seed, and Keiretsu Forum's new chapter in NY!

As far as I know. It seemed to me there was a new clean tech almost every day for a long time. Perhaps clean tech & green have reached there saturation point along with bio-life. To use an absurd example: "There are only so many shades of red." Unless something really intresting and remotely game changing comes out. I see VC funding dropping (for more then one reason) and consolidation occurring for awhile.
