InStream Media Closes First Round

Waltham, MA-based inStream Media today announced it has closed its Series A funding round. Lexington, MA-based CommonAngels and Waltham MA-based Stage 1 Ventures led the round, the value of which was not disclosed. InStream’s “1to1 Ads” system allows brick-and-mortar retailers to deliver behaviorally targeted ads and discount offers to shoppers, in the form of customized coupons printed on credit-card debit-card receipts.
