Great article. Great product. I learned about Dimdim when I recently asked a subset of my LinkedIn database, “What’s a good alternative to WebEx?” A small number of people mentioned Dimdim. I predict a year from now that will be a large number. I’m not surprised that “ease of use” was the first priority of users. If I’m going to tell a prospect to change behavior and to have a “Dimdim” call (vs. a “WebEx” call), I better not be asking the prospect to do something that is at all difficult. And Prakash’s comment about applications coming before the platform also makes sense. At the end of the day, it’s all about applications. Glad to see these guys — who I don’t know at all — doing well. Glad to see another Boston company leading the way.
