Polaris Surveys Founders on Dilution
Wade Roush2/20/09
Sim Simeonov, a general partner at Waltham, MA-based Polaris Venture Partners, is conducting an online survey to find out how much stock dilution technology startup founders generally experience between the creation of their companies and the all-important exit event. “There are rules of thumb but there is no good data about what happens to common stock,” Simeonov wrote today in a general e-mail to venture and media contacts. He has invited entrepreneurs to fill out the survey (here) and says he’ll share the data on his blog when the study is finished.
