Gap Will Employ Kiva Robots

Wade Roush 1/12/09

Kiva Systems in Woburn, MA, said today that Gap Inc. Direct, which handles online orders for clothing chains Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Piperlime, will install Kiva’s robotic fufillment system in its warehouses. The deal represents a big win for Kiva, whose largest previous customers included Zappos and Diapers.com.
