UTest Raises $5M Series B Round

Wade Roush12/2/08

UTest, the Boston-based software quality assurance outsourcing startup we profiled back in August, said today that it has raised a $5 million Series B funding round. The funds, which come on top of a $2.23 million Series A round announced in March, are from new investors Longworth Venture Partners and Egan-Managed Capital, both located in Boston. Existing investors Mesco Ltd. and the Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation also joined the round.
