$14M C Round for KickApps

KickApps, the New York-based maker of a white-label social networking platform that other Web publishers can plug into their sites, has raised a $14 million Series C venture round, according to reports in PE Hub and TechCrunch. North Atlantic Capital of Portland, ME, led the round, which was joined by existing investors Spark Capital of Boston, Prism VentureWorks of Needham, MA, and Softbank Capital of Newton Center, MA. The round raises Kickapps’ total venture pot to about $31 million.
