New $50M Medtech Fund Launched

Yankee Equity Solution, a private equity firm, has launched a $50 million fund to invest in medtech outfits in the Boston area, according to a company statement. The new YES Medical Technology Fund, led by industry veteran and managing director John Williams, plans to invest in firms that have annual revenues of $10 million, earnings (EBITDA) of $2 million, and the potential to be first or second in their market segment.
