Ambient Raises $8M from Vicis

Ambient (OTC:ABTG), a Newton, MA-based provider of software and services to help electrical utilities use existing power lines to deliver IP-based services, reports it has raised $8 million from Vicis Capital Master Fund. The capital, which brings Vicis’ total investment in Ambient to $23.5 million, is intended to fund operations and future growth.
