Brightcove Snags AOL, NYT

Cambridge, MA-based Brightcove, which rolled out a massively overhauled version of its video hosting service just two weeks ago, announced today that AOL will manage all of its online video using the new Brightcove 3 platform starting in early 2009. It was the second big customer win in as many weeks—last week the New York Times introduced a new high-definition video portal built on the Brightcove technology.
