Clinical Data Inks $25M Stock Deal

Newton, MA-based biotech firm Clinical Data (NASDAQ:CLDA) said today that it has inked a deal to raise some $25 million in a private placement of stock and warrants. The agreement, with affiliates of Clinical Data board chair Randal J. Kirk, includes some 1.5 million newly issued shares of common stock and warrants on another 757,000 shares.
