Swaptree, a Boston-based Web startup that helps people trade used books, CDs, DVDs, and video games, has obtained $3.35 million in Series C funding from Wayne, PA-based Safeguard Scientifics, according to a release today from Safeguard. The company’s advertising-supported Swaptree.com site matches up people who want to swap media items and helps them print out shipping labels.
